Rep Babajimi Benson member house of representatives Ikorodu, flag off Agbala/Eyita roads, drafts contractor to site for the commencement of new eleven(11) roads connecting major roads in Ikorodu Federal Constituency on Saturday, February 26th, 2022.

The multiple road construction inaugurated for construction yesterday include; Oshin-ladega street Agbala, Amudat Jokomba street, Olokunola street, Oladunjoye oriola street.

Linking Eyita Ikorodu central, Oguntuga street, Igbeyin Adun street, Olaore oshikoya street, Ayodele Ayeni street, Giwa Efugbotu, Adeyiga street (benson estate linking munirat Aleje that connects benson bus stop)

Rep Jimi Benson who has in the past would not just build road, but facilitate and construct roads that link major express roads, assured that his administration will open up more roads that will pave way for the economic prosperity of Ikorodu division.

The Ikorodu-born Lawmaker while addressing the beneficiaries of the new roads said the ongoing Ikorodu-Sagamu road sited along Ikorodu North border was his first road construction job in the entire Ikorodu Division and assured more are in the offing.

Rep Babajimi Benson while giving statistical analysis of what accrues to Ikorodu Division as a Federal Constituency disclosed that insufficient constituency allowance can not this multiple projects but his office most times lobbied to get these projects coming to Ikorodu Division.

“So it is not that we earn more than our colleagues in the green chamber but these projects are culmination of extra efforts, lobbying, hard work, undivided commitment to bring these amenities to the doorsteps of Ikorodu Division.

Builder Deola Banjo the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA in his welcome address labelled Honourable Jimi Benson the “Posterboy” of Ikorodu division noting that Ikorodu division never envisaged representation can be this good.

He said the roads upon completion would ease travel time and would make life more meaningful for the good people of Ikorodu North especially.

Speakers at the event took turns to thank JB for his superlative performance and giant strides scattered across Ikorodu division.

The link roads are expected to be completed in four months after which residents of Ikorodu would be able to connect Benson right from Agbala area of Ikorodu North.
