Rep. Babajimi Benson flagged-off the construction of Akin Ogunlewe road in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA it is 1.1 kilometre long, with drainage and street light, which after completion is expected to not only bring relief to the residents but serve as access link to Baiyeku road, Bola Ahmed Tinubu Way/Agbele Road, as well as 8 different commuities in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.

Rep. Babajimi Benson in his remarks “He commended the good people of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA and Ikorodu federal constituency at large for their overwhelming support for ALL PROGRESSIVE PARTY (APC) during the last general Elections, “my ikorodu people are the real MVPS”

He added “In Ikorodu Federal constituency, we shall continue to execute more projects, from Akin Ogunlewe to selewu, very soon we will embark on the Oreta road, same thing goes to Ori-okuta, and lots more, This road is 1.1 kilometers, we will complete it in three months time and also make sure dranaige and streetlights are put in place.”

He commend the CDAS for their support and co-operation for their Vigilance and being security conscious at all time.

Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe member GAC Lagos state in his remarks “I commend Babajimi Benson for his efforts in Ikorodu Division, we are proud of him.”

At the just concluded election, it was an eye opener, Babajimi Benson’s efforts in Ikorodu was the reason behind why we have so much votes, everything he did was commendable and glearing for the eyes to see.

He added “I will implore the Local Government to also complement the efforts of Jimi Benson by doing some necessary road projects to ease the people of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.”

Asiwaju Olorunfummi Bashorun member GAC Lagos state in his remarks “This road has been here for some time and I appreciate Jimi Benson for remembering this road I pray may God Almighty continue to elevate him.”

He added “I will also use this medium to appeal to the Lagos State Government on the construction of Bola Ahmed Tinubu Way and Baiyeku Road”.

The Engineer implore the members of the community to corporate with them in line with construction of the roads and he also appreciate their efforts when the issues of stolen iron rods and they were able to retrieve it back.

Award presentation by IKODASS

Mr. Rotimi Erogbogbo Chairman IKODASS and few members of his Executive presented a community Builder Award to Rep. Babajimi Benson for his outstanding achievement in Ikorodu federal constituency.

Rep. Babajimi Benson also presented a bus to the United African Methodist Church, UAMC, Eleja, Igbogbo in fulfillment of his promise to the church.

In the usual way of giving back to his constituents Rep. Babajimi Benson the Chairman House Committee on Defense through his iCare Foundation gives out over 500 food items known as ‘APO ANU’ to constituents in Ikorodu federal constituency, for the May edition of the Program which took place in the Constituency office of Rep Babajimi Benson, yesterday 13th of May.

iCare foundation buys grocery food items and redistributes in bags called AAPO AANU or MERCY BAGS for needy, physically challenged and widows within Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

Members of the public are also given the opportunity to nominate someone within Ikorodu Division that is in need, who is either Elderly, Widow or Physically Challenged for the monthly food ration.

The iCare Foundation of Rep. Babajimi Benson is a non-profit organization that focuses on the improvement of the quality of life of every resident of Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

The beneficiaries extend their appreciation to the initiator Rep. Babajimi Benson for his kind gesture towards them and shower prayers on him.

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Industries and the Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA , has congratulated member of the House of Representatives representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Hon Babajimi Benson on his 51st birthday.

Senator Abiru, in a statement issued by his media aide, Mr. Enitan Olukotun, described the legislator as a dedicated representative , who has been  impacting the lives of constituents since he got into office. 

The #DoingGood Senator specifically referenced people-oriented initiatives like Apo Anu (Food bank for the needy), and other laudable projects and programmes under the auspices of iCare Foundation.

The All Progressives Congress, Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA organised a victory and appreciation party for the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Rep. Babajimi Benson, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun AMA, it was full of merriment yesterday at the Mikson Onas event center, Igbogbo, Ikorodu, Lagos.

To close the campaign for the Governorship and Lagos state House of Assembly campaign, a motorcade rally was organised to support the Re-election of Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Governor of Lagos State and Aro Moshood Abiodun for Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu Constituency 2.

The motorcade rally, which lasted for eight hours, commenced at the Imota roundabout, passing through various communities such as Igbokuta, Gberigbe, Gbodu, Ijede, Igbe communities, Igbogbo-Baiyeku, and the last stop at Ebute ferry terminal.

The campaign was well attended by Nollywood stars like Mr Yinka Qudri and Remi Surutu in attendance. Excitement was all written over the face of the people of the communities, they expressed confidence in re-electing Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and electing Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro, AMA, on Saturday, March 18th, 2023.

Simultaneously the motorcade rally took place in Ikorodu constituency 1 for Ogunleye Gbolahan and Mr. Governor.

The event was graciously led by Rep. Babajimi Benson Member House of Representatives Ikorodu federal constituency, the Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Hon. Rep. Babajimi Benson Member House of Representatives Ikorodu federal constituency, flag-off 1.5 km reconstruction of Agbele community road in the area of Ikorodu central, on the 7th of March.

Rep. Babajimi Benson appreciate the good people of Agbele community for voting APC, for re-electing into office.

In his remarks “I appreciate my leaders for my leaders for always standing by me at all times, I won’t forget the people of Ikorodu federal constituency for voting for me last two weeks Saturday at the poll.

“The road we came to flag-off today is a 1.5km road and will be completed in 3 months time, I urge the people of this community to take this project as your own.”

In the same vein, I want you all to turn to canvasser on Saturday knock on your neighbors door to come out and vote for Sanwo-Olu and Ogunleye, we must increase our votes to 200,000 to remain number one position in the whole Lagos State.

Hon. Dayo Israel the National Youth Leader of APC in his remarks “it is feats of such, as the Lagos State governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has ushered in at the State level, which has impacted various sectors and industries.
Dayo explained, “Ikorodu stands to gain more than what it has benefited from Governor Sanwo-Olu if he’s re-elected back to the Statehouse”.

He continued, “One cannot describe the development coming our way if we have our leaders at the federal, state and local government”.

“This is why we’re expecting nothing less than 200,000 votes this Saturday at the gubernatorial elections”.
“Lagos State must deliver a re-election victory to Governor Sanwo-Olu, allowing his excellent performance to continue in infrastructure and other areas” Dayo Israel added.

Rep. Babajimi Benson has commissioned the rehabilitated Paul Palmer street in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA on the 5th march, 2023.

Rep. Babajimi Benson Member House of Representatives, Ikorodu federal constituency emphasized the benefits of increasing Ikorodu Division votes from the 50,000 recorded in the Presidential election to over 100,000.

He added “We mostly develop places with the highest votes, Ikorodu had the highest votes in the last election and we are expecting more from you. We are all canvassers in our various polling units and I want us to inform our neighbors to come out to vote for Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Aro Moshood Abiodun on Saturday”

Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali Adeboruwa of Igbogbo commend Rep. Babajimi Benson for his giants stride Achievements in Ikorodu federal constituency, he promised that Igbogbo will deliver Ikorodu to Governor Sanwo-Olu.

“The Lagos state works department what we do is to monitor the roads built by the honorables or built in the area, we make sure that we perfect the works done, maintain the road, and build drainages if need be, don’t worry we have you in mind because this is a Government that cares for everyone”.
