Leo District 404A3 Nigeria, of Lions International under the leadership of the outgoing District President, Leo Tunde Lasisi, has recognised outstanding members and clubs for their exceptional service, leadership, and commitment during the concluded service year.

The recognition ceremony, which marked the end of the Lasisi-led administration, featured the presentation of several award categories, including the Leo Award of Honour, Top 15, Top 10, Top 5, Best Clubs, Service Excellence Award, Service Legacy Award, Leadership Excellence Award, Appreciation Award, Membership Growth Award, and Leadership Appreciation Award.

Speaking on behalf of the District Governor of Lions Clubs District 404A3 Nigeria, Lion Mary Onu, who was represented by Lion Wole Ajidahun, commended the Leos for their dedication and impact, expressing appreciation for their service to humanity and continued support for the ideals of the Lions and Leo movement.



In his Address, the outgoing District President and Multiple District President-Elect, Leo Tunde Lasisi, appreciated club presidents, district officers, and members for their unwavering support throughout his tenure.

He noted that the achievements recorded during the service year were made possible through collective effort, trust, and dedication to service.

Lasisi stated that while most of the goals set at the beginning of the administration were achieved, the success of the district was largely driven by teamwork and the willingness of members to serve selflessly. He also expressed gratitude to all Leos and Lions who contributed in various capacities, describing their support as instrumental to the milestones recorded.

He further urged members to extend their support to the incoming administration, which will be led by Leo Adedamola Ogunmokun, calling for continuity, unity, and stronger collaboration to sustain the district’s growth and impact.

According to Lasisi, the awards were designed to celebrate individuals and clubs who demonstrated outstanding performance in service delivery, leadership, membership development, and community impact across various levels of the district.

Recipients were commended for their consistency in driving humanitarian initiatives and strengthening the visibility of Leo activities throughout the service year.

He noted that the achievements recorded were made possible through collective efforts, strong collaboration among clubs, and the commitment of members who supported various service initiatives.

The district reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining excellence, leadership development, and youth empowerment, while encouraging members to build on the legacy established under the Lasisi-led administration.
