Rep Babajimi Benson flag-off construction of 3.3 kilometres construction of Erunwen road, in Ikorodu North LCDA.

Rep. Babajimi Benson Member House of Representatives, Ikorodu federal constituency in his remarks

“We are here to flag off, a month ago I came to address the residents of this community, the road is about 3.3 kilometers long and we promised them we will come back within a month to flag of the commencement of this road. “

“Last week I went to see the Governor to inform him about this flag off, he is also well abreast about what we are doing and i heard them say something about the transformer, he is ready to support what we are doing. We are here to flag off the road, we thank God all things are going well. We should be able to complete the road between four or five months.”

“All things being equal and with the residents being corporative, we have done it before, we completed the road. The full payment is already on ground. I expressed my misgivings about them earlier, if they live up to expectations by Easter, this road should be complete.”

“It’s election season and the voting turn out from Eruwen is always low, so we want to bring development to them and we want them to react to us positively, So let us see what they have for in stored us, if they turn out well, the Government too will be interested so also the Senator and the House of Representatives as well is listening because the constituency falls under them. The councilor is also to ensure we give Eruwen a first class facility.”

Hon. Banjo the Executive Chairman Ikorodu North in his own remarks “I want to thank our MHR, because they have brought peace, Harmony we are very grateful for this and we can see the people, they are very, very happy as we can see the road, it is 3.3 meters and you know what that means. If they are selling houses here for 8 or 4 or 5 million, before they complete this road, it will skyrocket.”

He added “We will do more engagement with the people so that the people will know what is going on, we will work with the CDA to have a banner at strategic positions Of the community to sensitize people that this road is being reconstructed and we also work with the council, I can assure you that no body will disturb you on this road it is a major development, and let me also tell the community that the MHR is saying that we have four transformers included”

Otunba Tijani Olasunkanmi Chairman APC Ikorodu Division in his remarks “I contested against Babajimi Benson in 2015 and today i can testify to the fact the he’s doing wonderfully well beyond my expectations, I enjoined our well wishers and our Party faithfuls to come out in en mass to vote all our party candidates in the coming election.

Chairman CDC Prince Niran Ogunbanwo “As the chairman CDC, I want to thank the MHR for this road the people of Eruwen are lucky, and to tell him that the people of Eruwen will double the vote, will triple it, so that the people will know what is going on.”

Hon. Olakanmi Tijani Councillor representing Eruwen “I want to use this medium to appreciate our MHR, you have done a great favour by bringing this great opportunity to us in Eruwen, and we promise you we’ll vote massively for you and other party candidates in the general election.
