The Executive Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA, Builder Deola Banjo has led the Executives, legislative, management and staff of Ikorodu North LCDA to observe the year 2022 annual tree planting exercise held at the Council secretariat, Eweye, Isiu today 14th of July, 2022.

Mr Gbadamosi Ganiy from Lagos state Parks and Garden represented the deputy Governor of Lagos state, Mr Obafemi Hamzat at the program conveying the message of the deputy Governor after which he joined the Chairman to plant the first set of flowers that would help beautify and preserve the environment.

The Chairman in his eloquent speech said – The LCDA has decided to plant the trees inside the Council Secretariat with the intention of leading by example. If we preach trees planting as the government closes to the people, we should seen to be doing so in deed, Banjo opined.

He urged everyone present to ensure the survival of the plants for the benefit of all.
