
Barrister Olatoun Atinuke Adekoya has been officially sworn in as a Notary Public by the Chief Judge of Lagos State, marking a significant milestone in her distinguished legal career.
The swearing-in ceremony, which took place on Monday, April 20, recognised Adekoya’s longstanding contributions to the legal profession and her commitment to upholding justice and professional excellence.
With over 36 years of experience as a private legal practitioner, Adekoya has built a reputation for diligence and expertise across various areas of law.
Her elevation to the role of Notary Public is seen as a testament to her integrity and years of dedicated service at the Bar.
Beyond her legal practice, Adekoya is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (FICMC) and a member of the Nigeria Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (MNICArb), reflecting her strong involvement in alternative dispute resolution.
She also holds a Master’s degree in Maritime Studies and Administration, further underscoring her diverse academic and professional background.
Speaking after the ceremony, Adekoya described her journey in the legal profession as fulfilling, noting that her new role would further enhance her ability to serve the public and the justice system.
