
As the clock struck midnight, ushering in the dawn of 2026 across Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, Lagos, Nigeria and the world, Hon. Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko, Council Leader of the Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) and the Councillor representing Ward C1, extended a warm New Year message to all residents.
In her statement, Hon. Banjoko called on the people of the LCDA to approach the coming months with steadfastness and a renewed sense of purpose. She emphasized the importance of resilience, encouraging residents to remain courageous and prepared for the collective tasks ahead.
“While every year presents its own set of challenges, the strength of our community lies in its ability to face them with unity and a proactive mindset,” she said.
The Council Leader expressed deep-seated optimism about the trajectory of the nation and the local government area, stating her firm conviction that 2026 is destined to be an outstanding year.
“Through continued cooperation between the government and the citizenry, I believe the LCDA will witness significant strides in development and prosperity,” Hon. Banjoko said.
