It was a massive turnout as Ikorodu federal constituency celebrate the orange day to flag off campaign for their beloved representative Rep Babajimi Adegoke Benson Chairman House Committee on Defense on the 7th January, 2023 at the Ikorodu ferry terminal.

People from different constituency, political leaders graced the event to honour Rep Babajimi Benson and discuss his good deeds and service to humanity, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal popularly known as K1 De Ultimate entertain the gathering with his melodious music.

The Vice Chairman of APC, Lagos East Senatorial District Hon. Olayinka Oladunjoye commend the good efforts of Rep Babajimi Benson “I’ve been hearing the positive feedback from your constituents and I must say I’m proud of you, I am using the opportunity to urge our party faithfuls to vote massively and canvass to vote for our Leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Babajimi Benson and all our APC candidates in the forthcoming election.”

Hon. Abubakar from Jigawa state said he is not surprised about the event because Hon. Jimi Benson is a wonderful person he said,”Ikorodu constituency, you are very lucky because I worked with him at the national assembly as a first timer and he took me as a brother.

“He is respected by all , I can see how much you all respect him that is the same wày the 361members of the house of Senate respect him. He is a man of honour , integrity and honesty”
He however advised everyone not to segregate the north from the south neither the Muslim from the Christian as Jimi Benson is a man for all. The senator challenges Lagos State that Jigawa will have the highest vote for Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.

Prince Abiodun Ogunleye said ,”we have seen his good works, he has constructed the road of Eyita also add street lights there, I urge everyone to get there PVC”.

Chief Oduborisha President Oriwu Club in his own remarks “I am now in APC because of my friend Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, I’m 100 percent with him for his ambition, in the same vein Jimi Benson has been doing massively well in terms of representation and projects to Ikorodu as a whole, in this vein I urge you all to get your voters card and Vote APC.”

However, Hon Sunmi Odesanya Secretary of APC in Lagos state said “statutorily, Jimi shall be sworn in on his third term come June this year, the young man has succeeded in changing narratives of the legislative representation in the duty of Nigeria parliamentary politics”.

Ogboni Fuad Oki Secretary of the APC Presidential Council in Lagos State He promised to give the ward with the highest votes a brand new bus.
The women leader appreciates the Apc candidates and people present and urges them to get their PVC. Benson further appreciates everyone present and tells them to vote for Abiru, Tinibu and Sanwoolu in the coming election.
