
Ward L1 in Eredo LCDA, known as a major students’ residential area with a large population of young people and academic communities, has taken a confident stand on the principle of two-term rotational representation while expressing strong support for Prince Adetola Ganiu Olusegun, popularly known as Segun 3, ahead of the Lagos State House of Assembly election for Epe Constituency II.
The area, which is predominantly occupied by students and youth communities, witnessed growing political engagement as residents and stakeholders openly aligned with the idea of fairness and continuity in leadership through a structured rotational arrangement.
Community voices in Ward L1 emphasized that they firmly support the two-term rotation principle, stressing that it is now the turn of Ikosi District to produce the next representative at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
According to residents and youth stakeholders, the decision to stand with Prince Segun 3 is driven by his proven track record during his tenure as Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA between 2008 and 2014, where he recorded visible achievements across education, infrastructure, healthcare, youth empowerment, and community development.
They described him as a grassroots political mobilizer whose experience and understanding of community needs continue to resonate strongly, especially among young people and students within the area.
The atmosphere in Ward L1 reflected unity and political awareness, as students and community members expressed confidence in his capacity to represent Epe Constituency II effectively at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Stakeholders maintained that the combination of rotational fairness and a tested record of service makes Prince Segun 3 a strong and widely accepted option as political consultations continue across the constituency.
