Hon. Olakanmi Tijani (Ola’Olohun) Councillor representing ward E2 Erikorodo, Ikorodu North LCDA gives account of stewardship and Omodaada women & widows Empowerment which holds yesterday at Keyoolu Palace Erunwen, in Erikorodo Ward E2 Saturday 13th of August.

Hon. Olakanmi Tijani reels out his achievements in the last one year in office:

During campaign:
Distribution of school writing materials (exercise books and pen) to
1. African Bethel Pry School, maya
2. African Bethel Pry School, Erikorodo

365 days in office:
+ Sponsor and supervision of covid 19 vaccine point to Itamaga in the ward from lagos State and ikorodu North lcda for six months.

+ Sponsor of 20 (10 at each) medical ad-hoc staff for administering of the polio vaccine for children age 0-7 years

+ Facilitation of grading of long length roads:
Bamgbelu: Balogun Street inward bamgbelu main town.
Maya: maya – itele connecting road
Laketu, Parafa.

+ Sponsorship of a single Empowerment form from the ministry of women affairs and poverty alleviation in the state

+ Palative measure at maya bus stop to ease traffic conjestion before the intervention of Lagos State public works

+ Facilitation of four (4) jamb form; most beneficiary from maya community secondary school.

+ Facilitation of fifty (50) petty trader in the ward for the owo-ife Banjo Empowerment scheme

+ Facilitation of succour payment for victim of flood/erosion in the ward.

+ The just concluded widow and women give back program promised to be annual

+ New Launch of the Give back initiative (GiBi); under which every community development programs will be rolled out.

Olakanmi is a good representative you made a right choice by electing him, One of the numerous Good work he contributed to, Ikorodu North LCDA has never had a bye law, being his first time when we are drafting it, he made a tremendous contribution.

“During plenary he always made mention of this ward of your various needs raging from bad roads that need rehabilitation, empowerment and lots more.” He added

Alhaji Fayas, Alhaji Odidi, Mr. Saheed Fatai the ward Chairman, Mrs Folakemi, Mr. Charles the Ndigbo Leader in the ward, and the Baale all gave commendation to Hon. Olakanmi Tijani and attest to his good job in the ward since his assumption into office.



Hon. Babayemisi Fakunmoju the joint CDA Chairman in the ward in his remarks “Hon. Olakanmi is great representative, since his assumption in office, he has always been carrying the CDAs along, and we commend him for good job well-done so far and as Oliver twist we ask for more on behalf of myself and members of the CDAs in Erikorodo ward we wish you a successful tenure”

One of the beneficiary who speaks on behalf of the beneficiaries “We’re using this medium to appreciate our Councillor for finding us worthy by empowering us, we have never witnessed such in this our ward, may Almighty God continue to lift you up.”
