365 days in office, Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko The Deputy Leader of Igbogbo/Baiyeku Legislative Arm has reels out her scorecard in the last one year as the representative of Ward C1 in the Local Government.

Road Inspection

On Monday 23th of August, 2021, Hon. Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko went on a road inspection of all roads under construction in her ward; awarded by the Lagos State Government, this was done to be sure that contractors/engineers are doing their works as supposed.

All streets link to one another, some of the streets that are under construction are
▪️Baganju Street
▪️Oradulu Street
▪️Babatunde Ajeigbe Street
▪️Kikelomo Faniyi Street
▪️Akogun Street
▪️Olatifewa Street
▪️Church Street

She sponsored the grand prize of the Science Exhibition with the sum of 50,000 naira for the winner (1st price) the student is from Lagos state civil service Senior model college, as part of the Igbogbo Day celebration, 3rd position with the sum of 30,000 naira for the Carnival competition of 2021 Igbogbo Day celebration.

Donation of School Uniform

October 18, 2021 Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko donates school uniforms to students of Methodist primary school and Ansar udeen primary school in her ward.

March 19, 2022 she visited the newly accredited special unit by Lagos State primaries at Methodist Primary School, Igbogbo.

Visitation to the Special Unit



Methodist Primary School is at present the only Primary School in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA that has the approval of the State Government to create special class for special pupils.

The Princess however is an integral part of the special unit’s establishment and smooth running.

As part of her commitments, Honorable Princess provided school uniform for the first set of the special pupils.

Friday, 8th of July, 2022, Hon. Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko inspects the commencement of Lajo Primary school’s perimeter fencing’s building which she facilitates through the LCDA Boss, Builder Sesan Daini.

She expressed her gratitude to the Council Boss, Builder Sesan Daini for making the perimeter fencing of the school a reality and said it’s one of her promises to the school when she previously carried out schools inspections across Ward C1.
