The Chairman Senate Committee on Industries and Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA mourns the passing into glory of Chief Reuben Adenrele Olowu, JP (1946-2022).
Senator Abiru commiserates with the family of the deceased, the wife, Chief (Mrs) Adejonwo Ashabi Olowu, JP, the children and the entire Ikorodu division in particular and Lagos State in general on the irreparable loss.
He urged the family and the loved ones of Late Chief Reuben Olowu to take solace in the fact that their departed patriarch was committed to service of humanity in his lifetime and bequeathed enviable legacies as a revered political and community leader.
The Senator condoled saying, “It is with deep sense of loss that I commiserate with the family of our beloved leader, Chief Reuben Adenrele Olowu, JP.
“’While we grieve, we should take comfort in the good life Chief Olowu lived, the numerous lives he impacted and the great service he gave to humanity in his lifetime. His legacies stand tall in politics and other areas.
“I pray that Almighty God should heal the hurt and give the children and family of the departed the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss’’.
