National Association of University Students Lagos EXCOs elected ~Ajasa-Info

Wednesday 16th of February, 2022 the National Association of University Students Campus Monitoring Committee, Lagos election was held at the Faculty of Education, University of Lagos.
It had in attendance the VP Southwest, pioneer VP Southwest, National EXCO and other stakeholders. It was a free & fair election which had students from LASU, UNILAG, LASUSTECH and other universities in the State.

After a successful election 10 NAUS CMC Lagos Executives were elected, Comr. Idowu Ifeoluwa Sonoiki from LASU a former One Day Governor emerged as Chairman NAUS CMC Lagos, Comr. Olubode David Paul from LASUSTECH emerged as Vice Chairman, Comr. Samad as General Secretary, Kappo Oluwashina as PRO, Ibuje Victory Eloho as Treasurer, others are Tinubu King, Director, Special Duties, Olatunji Ruqoyah as Director, Gender, Odutola Adedapo as Sport Director and Comr. Ibrahim as Asst. General Secretary. In his goodwill message, the Vice President, NAUS Southwest, congratulated them and charged them to give their best to taking in NAUS CMC Lagos to greater heights which it deserves. a stakeholder Comr. Giwa Temitope advised them to be good representatives of the association where ever they find themselves, he further charged them to be diligent in their duties.

Comr. Fasasi Ridwan a National Director representing Lagos charged the EXCOs to make great name for NAUS CMC Lagos so much that it is known far and wide. Finally, Comrade Akapo the pioneer VP Southwest admonished the EXCOs to seek advice and help where necessary from Leaders both past and present as it will aid their decision making.

In response, the newly elected Chairman, Comrade Ifeoluwa Sonoiki appreciated the stakeholders for believing in them and electing them for the job, he promised to work hand in hand with his EXCOs. In his remarks, he said he will be needing the support of the Leaders in ensuring the success of his administration, “we will give our best in making NAUS CMC Lagos known across the State and beyond and everyone will be carried along.” He concluded.


The National Association of University Students established in 2018 is the highest decision making body for students studying in the university with over 20 million members in Nigeria and Diaspora fully committed to the mainstreaming of students and young leaders in governance at all levels with core interest of protecting the dignity and integrity of the students and uniting the students for academic excellence.
