The ISU Annual week started with a project tour by visiting schools that ISU have done their projects and fulfilled.
Today, the Union shared hundreds of NOTEBOOKS to Pupils in three major primary schools in Igbogbo Kingdom as a way of celebrating her 66yrs of Existence.
The President in his words said, “We have kickstarted the Projects months ago and we are finally glad to see it actualization.”
We are grateful that many hands have supported this project and have it achievable.
Two classrooms were renovated in Methodist Primary School. Upon reaching there today, we checked the renovated classes. The Headmistress was thankful to us for what we have done and prayed. The President promised the students that another classroom will be renovated before the end of the Year.
Donated Chairs and Desks The Union was able to donate chairs and desks to pupils in Eleja Primary School. This came as a surprise to the school in which the headmistress said, “I am glad you fulfilled your words”
The pupils will be forever grateful.
Lastly, The President Hon. Comr. Clinton O. Adeniji said “It’s important that we let these pupils know that education is the best legacy that we can always give to our children”
The Chairman of the Annual Week Committee, Comr. Adeleye Idowu Israel “Sometimes ago, while we were deliberating, we said it was a necessity that this year’s annual week takes a new turn of event compared to all other annual weeks that have been done and that this must be much more impactful. This led to many sleepless nights and all. But thank God we actualized it all. We decided not to do official opening as it’s not a political will but something that was done to celebrate our great pupils in the community.
