
The Leader of the Legislative Arm in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko, has felicitated with children across the council area on the occasion of this year’s Children’s Day celebration, describing children as the pride, hope, and future of society.
In her Children’s Day message, Princess Banjoko commended the resilience, brilliance, and dreams of children within Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, while emphasizing the need for continuous investment in quality education, moral upbringing, and child welfare to secure a better future for coming generations.
She urged parents, guardians, teachers, community leaders, and government at all levels to continue creating a safe, supportive, and enabling environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and morally without fear, neglect, or discrimination.
Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko also encouraged children to remain focused on their studies, uphold good values, respect their parents and elders, and continue believing in their dreams despite challenges, noting that every child possesses the potential to become a great leader and positive influence in society.
She further reaffirmed her commitment to supporting initiatives and policies that promote the wellbeing, protection, and development of children across Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, while wishing all children a joyful, memorable, and fulfilling Children’s Day celebration.
