
The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area, Rasaki Bamidele Kasali, on Thursday paid a visit to a nursing mother at the Health Centre within the Council Secretariat following the safe delivery of her newborn baby.
During the visit, the council chairman congratulated the mother and expressed joy over the successful birth. He also offered prayers and warm wishes for the wellbeing of both the mother and the child.
As part of the visit, Kasali presented a token of support to the nursing mother in celebration of the arrival of the newborn, describing motherhood as a blessing that should be cherished and supported by society.
The gesture, according to the council chairman, reflects the administration’s continued commitment to the welfare of residents and the promotion of quality healthcare services across Lekki LCDA.
Residents and health workers at the facility commended the chairman for the thoughtful visit, noting that the gesture demonstrated compassion and a people-oriented style of leadership.
