The Executive Chairman of Ikosi–Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has been conferred with a Doctorate Fellowship and honoured with an Excellent Leadership Award in Good Governance by the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics, Ghana.

The conferment ceremony, which held at the Ikosi–Ejinrin LCDA Secretariat, Agbowa, was conducted in the presence of top officials of the Institute and key stakeholders within the council.

Leading the delegation from the Institute was Prof. Babatunde Akinsanya, Vice President in Charge of Educational Training, alongside Dr. Sey Phillips, Executive Director, Public Affairs, and Mrs. Victoria Ijeoma, Head of Correspondence.

The Institute noted that the honour was in recognition of Akogun Anomo’s exemplary leadership, commitment to good governance, and impactful strides in grassroots development within Ikosi–Ejinrin LCDA.

In his acceptance speech, Anomo dedicated the award to the people of Ikosi-Ejirin LCDA, stating that the recognition would spur him to deliver more dividends of democracy to his constituents.

Also present at the ceremony were the Vice Chairman, Alh. Wasiu Dehinsilu; SLG, Hon. Anjorin Lookman; Council Manager of Ikosi–Ejinrin LCDA, Mr. Sunday Awobajo; the Supervisor for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Adekoya Taye; Supervisor for Revenue, Transport and Market Affairs, Hon.Adesanya Adedotun among other dignitaries.
