The Olódò IDE Movement has formally announced its inauguration as an independent campaign group in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging commitment to his leadership vision and political ideals.

In a press statement released on Thursday, the group described itself as a grassroots-driven and people-oriented platform focused on promoting progressive governance, national development and the consolidation of democratic values across Nigeria.

According to the statement, the movement aims to mobilize support from various segments of society, including youths, professionals, artisans, community leaders and political stakeholders who align with the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda. It added that the group would prioritize civic participation, political awareness and issue-based engagement as part of efforts to build a more united and prosperous nation.

The Olódò IDE Movement emphasized that its mission goes beyond political support, noting that it is also committed to advocating policies and initiatives that drive economic growth, social inclusion and sustainable development.

The group stated that it would achieve this through strategic engagement, community outreach and public enlightenment programmes designed to bridge the gap between the people and government aspirations.

Maintaining its independence, the movement said it would operate on the principles of integrity, accountability and service to the Nigerian people. It noted that its support for President Tinubu is based on his track record, commitment to nation-building and capacity to inspire progress.

The group also called on Nigerians to join the movement in contributing to democratic advancement and national development.

The statement was signed by the National Coordinator, Pastor Adekanbi Adefolarin (Eko); National Deputy Coordinator, Alhaja Rashidat Ajoke (Iya Obama); National Woman Leader, Hon. Idayat Anifowoshe; National Legal Adviser, Comrade Yakubu Arowoshola (Eleto); and Chairman, Board of Trustees, Alhaji Abdul Akeem Adeyemi (Bomelin).
