… REDOUBLES ENERGY FOR GRASSROOT MOBILISATION FOR TINUBU 2027

The RE-BAT Movement, Badagry Division, has reaffirmed its commitment to reshaping the political narrative across the ten Local Government Areas (LGAs) within the division, as it successfully convened its first general meeting with Ward Executives.
The strategic gathering, held at the APC Secretariat in Isashi, brought together members of the Directorate, Central Working Committee (CWC), LGA Coordinators, and Ward Executives in a unified effort to strengthen grassroots mobilization and deepen political engagement ahead of future electoral activities.
In his keynote address, the Principal Coordinator, Whejiepon Anthony Ola-Bidemi, reiterated the core mission and vision of the RE-BAT Movement. He emphasized the group’s dedication to supporting and complementing the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, particularly in advancing strategies that will reposition Badagry Division as a formidable political force within the state.
He expressed profound appreciation for the steadfast leadership of the Lagos State APC Chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, commending his consistent efforts in strengthening party unity and ensuring progressive development across all divisions, including Badagry.
As the political landscape gradually builds towards the next cycle of party primaries and general elections, the RE-BAT Movement declared its readiness to intensify mobilization efforts. The movement unveiled renewed strategies under its “Operation Burst the Zones” initiative, aimed at delivering massive grassroots support for the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. The leadership emphasized that the movement’s structure across wards and LGAs would be fully activated to ensure effective voter engagement and participation.
Speaking on behalf of the women’s wing, Hon. Bunmi Akapo, Supervisor for WAPA in Oto-Awori LCDA, highlighted the critical role of women in the movement’s agenda. She assured members of increased efforts to mobilize women across the division, while also expressing sincere gratitude to Abimbola Adeola for her unwavering support and encouragement towards the growth of the movement.
The RE-BAT Movement also extended heartfelt appreciation to key political stakeholders and leaders whose support continues to strengthen its operations. Among those acknowledged were Tolani Sule, members of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ojo Constituency—Segun Ege and Surajudeen Emir—as well as the Executive Chairman of Oriade LCDA, Rasaki Olojede.
Further recognition was given to the Executive Chairman of Oto-Awori LCDA, Kareem Abiodun, and the Chairman of Badagry Local Government, Hunpe Babatunde, alongside Kappo Olawale, Senior Special Assistant on Student Union Affairs, Williams Aganga, and Oladunjoye Olatunde. Their continued backing and accessibility were described as invaluable to the movement’s progress and grassroots reach.

They assured the leadership of seamless coordination at the ward level, emphasizing their readiness to deliver results.
The meeting also served as a preparatory platform for the much-anticipated Bola Ahmed Tinubu Pre-Election Summit, which is expected to further consolidate support structures and unify stakeholders across the division.
With renewed energy, strengthened coordination, and a clear strategic direction, the RE-BAT Movement, Badagry Division, remains resolute in its mission to drive political excellence, foster unity, and contribute significantly to the continued success of the APC in Lagos State and beyond.
