Following the recent sanitary disposal of refuse at the beach fronts, on the directive of the Executive Chairman, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), the Environmental Department of Lekki LCDA has also carried out the clearing of debris from areas where illegal shanties were demolished.

The affected areas include; Mosa, Lekuru, Aboki Estate, and the 700 Rooms axis. Debris and waste materials left behind after the demolition of the shanties were cleared and properly evacuated to ensure a clean and safe environment.

This action forms part of RBK’s ongoing efforts to improve environmental sanitation, restore order, and prevent environmental and health hazards within the LCDA.

The Lekki LCDA Environmental Department will continue similar exercises across other parts of the council area as part of its commitment to a cleaner and healthier Lekki.
