Builder Olusesan Daini, Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area, has praised Senator Tokunbo Abiru’s efforts in delivering impactful projects to the people of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA and Lagos East Senatorial District at large. Today, 7th of July the Senator commissioned several projects, including a block of renovated classrooms at UAMC Primary School, Local Government Primary School, Igbe Laara, and Methodist Primary School, Ibeshe, as well as a Primary Health Centre at Elepe, and Agunfoye road, all in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.

Speaking at the commissioning, Daini commended the senator for his commitment to fulfilling his promises. Daini expressed his gratitude to Senator Abiru for the projects, particularly the commissioning of three schools, which he described as a testament to the senator’s dedication.

He revealed that the project was a surprise to him, as he received a call about the initiative and promptly submitted the necessary information. Within 72 hours, work commenced on the project. He praised the senator’s prompt action, saying it reflects his father’s legacy of commitment.

The Executive Chairman urged residents of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA to massively vote for the APC Chairman and Councillorship candidates in the upcoming election. He emphasized that a vote for APC is a vote for all, benefiting not just the individual but the entire community. According to him, Senator Abiru’s projects demonstrate the party’s promise-keeping nature, and the people should reward them with their votes.

Daini also announced that his administration would be commissioning block of classrooms in two schools and a primary health centre, along with other significant projects. He encouraged constituents to continue supporting APC candidates to ensure the growth of development projects in their area. He pleaded with the people to come out in masses to vote for the party and to canvass more votes to ensure the party’s victory.

The projects commissioned include the fully reconstructed Agunfoye Road, complete with proper drainage and lighting; renovated schools, including the Methodist Primary School, Ibeshe, UAMC Primary School, Eleja, and Local Government Primary School, Igbe Laara; and a Primary Health Centre at Igbe Laara. These interventions aim to provide better access to education, healthcare, and infrastructure, ultimately contributing to the community’s overall development.

Senator Tokunbo Abiru, represented by Hon. Adebimpe Akinshola, former Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu Constituency 2, emphasized that these projects reflect his commitment to impactful, people-centered representation.

He noted that the projects are not just about infrastructure, but about building a stronger, healthier, and more empowered Igbogbo-Baiyeku. Senator Abiru stressed the importance of community ownership and maintenance of the facilities, urging local leaders to help ensure that the projects serve their intended purpose.

He also assured the community that more programs and projects are on the way, focusing on education, empowerment, and infrastructure development across Lagos East. Senator Abiru expressed gratitude to the community for their support, stating that “Together, let us continue building a better future for our people.”

Oba Richard Ogunsanya, Olubeshe of Ibeshe Kingdom thanked Senator Abiru for always remembering his people. He emphasized that the senator’s efforts in education, road infrastructure, technology, and empowerment have been commendable. He noted that the senator’s representation in Ikorodu and the Senate has been outstanding. “By Sunday, we would know our candidates elect for the Local Government Chairman, I pray we shall all smile,” he added.

Chief Tajudeen Onasanya, the Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom, representing Oba Abdulsemiu Kasali Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, expressed gratitude to Senator Abiru for the Agunfoye road project. He described the project as a relief to the huge numbers of people in the community and a means of connecting communities. He also appreciated the monarch for his role in facilitating the project.

Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun at UAMC Primary School commended Senator Abiru for the block of classrooms. He noted that the increasing population of pupils necessitates more classrooms. He congratulated the senator on delivering quality representation to Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA and Lagos East at large.

Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye, member representing Ikorodu constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, represented his father, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State. He commended Senator Tokunbo Abiru, describing him as a worthy representative who has consistently delivered for his constituents. Hon. Ogunleye expressed gratitude to Senator Abiru for the renovated classrooms, saying, “Senator Abiru has always been a worthy representative. We thank you for doing this for our pupils.”

Prince Adesegun Ogunlewe, one of the APEX leaders of APC in Ikorodu Division, representing Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, described Senator Abiru’s commissioning of projects as practical evidence of public service. He emphasized that the senator has consistently delivered services to his constituents in Lagos East Senatorial District. He noted that despite the senator’s heavy workload, he still prioritized the needs of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.

Hon. Taiwo Orenuga, APC Chairman Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, thanked Senator Abiru for facilitating the projects. He described the senator’s representation as exemplary, particularly in terms of infrastructure. He urged residents to massively vote for the APC in the upcoming elections and called on the school management to maintain the facilities adequately.
