Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA witnessed a significant milestone in its infrastructural development as the Executive Chairman, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Samson Adeniyi Street road in Ward E1, Agbowa.

The project aims to enhance road connectivity, boost economic activities, and improve access to essential services. The new road will serve as a critical link connecting Hospital Road, Court Road, and Methodist Road, easing access to the Agbowa General Hospital and enhancing mobility for residents.

The ceremony was attended by several notable dignitaries and APC party stalwarts, including Alhaji Wasiu Dehinsilu, Vice Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA; Mr. Sunday Awobajo, Council Manager; Otunba Nurudeen Yusuf; Hon. Hassan Mustapha, Leader of the House; and Hon. Oguntimirin Adeyemi, Ward E1 Councillor.

Speaking at the ceremony, Akogun Wale Anomo, the Executive Chairman Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA reiterated his unwavering commitment to delivering transformative projects in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.

He highlighted the strategic importance of the road, explaining that it would not only improve connectivity between key areas but also make access to the General Hospital more seamless.

Otunba Nurudeen Yusuf commended Akogun Anomo’s consistent delivery of impactful projects, noting that his administration continues to be a source of pride for the community. He urged local youth to cooperate with the contractors and avoid any actions that could delay the project’s progress.

Alhaji Lateef Ifesanya, a prominent community member and APC stalwart, expressed gratitude to Akogun Anomo for addressing the long-standing challenges faced by residents in accessing the General Hospital.

The project contractor, Engineer Ilesanmi, promised residents a quality delivery, explaining the stages involved and seeking collaboration and cooperation from youths and residents to complete the job within the stipulated three-month timeframe.

The project’s completion is expected to bring enhanced road usability, improved economic activity, better connectivity, and greater safety for residents.

Residents expressed excitement and appreciation for the project, citing its potential to transform their lives and improve their community’s infrastructure.
