In a bid to promote sustainable agriculture and empower farmers, the Golden Integrated Empowerment Foundation partnered with the Lagos Ministry of Agriculture to launch the “Grow Your Own Farm Initiative”. The initiative, which aims to provide farmers with sustainable tools and resources, has already benefited farmers across Owode Ibeshe.

Comrade Patricia Okosodo, founder of Golden Community Care foundation, expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Abisola Olusanya, for her outstanding leadership and dedication to the community. “Your efforts in transforming the agricultural sector in Lagos have been impactful to community development. Your tireless efforts have made a significant difference in the lives of many,” she said.

Okosodo also commended the Commissioner for her commitment to supporting farmers with tools and resources, stating that it will have a positive impact on their lives. She further extended her appreciation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his support and commitment to the agricultural sector.
