
Hon. Musliudeen Alade Aigoro, the Otun Aare Musulumi of Kosofe Land and Commissioner of the Lagos State Audit Service Commission, hosted the Annual Ramadan Lecture organized by the League of Chief Imams and Ulamahu Kosofe Chapter. The Annual Ramadan Lecture brought together prominent religious leaders, Political Leaders and members of the community to commemorate the holy month of Ramadan and engage in enlightening discussions.
Ustadh Abdulazeez Salaudeen’s lecture on leadership. He delved into the different categories of leadership, such as religious, political, community, and family leadership. He emphasized that leadership is not something to be taken lightly, as it comes with immense responsibility.
During the lecture, Ustadh Abdulazeez Salaudeen highlighted the challenges that leaders face, particularly the inherent nature of human beings. He mentioned how even after the passing of Prophet Muhammad, there were conflicts and power struggles in Makkah and Madinah as people vied for leadership positions. This example underscored the significance of understanding the true essence of leadership.

Musiliu Aigoro clarified that it was also a way for him to honor the memory of his late parents.
Hon. Musiliu Aigoro emphasized the importance of the Al-Quran as a manual for Muslims. He encouraged the guests in attendance to regularly engage with the teachings of the Al-Quran, even if they couldn’t read it themselves.
