
Project Beyond 2023, a group dedicated for the projection of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the President Elect of the federal republic of Nigeria also improving the lives of underserved communities in Nigeria, held its Annual Ramadan Lecture, Special Thanksgiving, and Prayer on Sunday, April 9th, in GRA Lagos. The event was well-attended by members of the Muslim community, Government officials, and representatives of non-governmental organizations.
The event was hosted by Senator Musliu Obanikoro, with Co-hosts Prince Anofiu Olanrewaju Elegushi (Commissioner for Home Affairs, Lagos State Government) and Alhaji Jebe Ahmed (Special Adviser to Governor of Lagos State on Islamic Affairs). The theme of this year’s lecture was “A Renewed Hope For Nigeria”, and it was delivered by Sheikh Dr. Muyideen Ajani Bello, a renowned Islamic scholar and preacher.
In his lecture, Sheikh Bello emphasized the importance of hope and faith in difficult times, and encouraged attendees to remain optimistic about the future of Nigeria.
“Despite the challenges we face as a nation, we must remain hopeful and believe that a better future is possible,” said Sheikh Bello. “As Muslims, we have a duty to work towards a more just, peaceful, and prosperous society, and to never lose sight of our faith and our values.”
He emphasized on the importance of unity, solidarity, and compassion in building a better Nigeria.

“We must stand together as a nation, and work towards a common vision of progress and development,” said Sheikh Ashiribo. “We must also show compassion and kindness towards those who are less fortunate, and work towards creating a more equitable society for all.”
The event concluded with a special thanksgiving and prayer, led by Sheikh Bello and Sheikh Ashiribo. Attendees expressed gratitude for the blessings of Ramadan and for the opportunity to come together as a community to celebrate their faith and renew their commitment to building a better Nigeria.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to come together as a community and to be inspired by the words of our scholars and leaders,” said Dr. Aisha Abdullahi, the President of Project Beyond. “We are committed to working towards a more just, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria, and we know that with faith, hope, and unity, we can achieve great things.”
The Annual Ramadan Lecture, Special Thanksgiving, and Prayer is just one of many initiatives organized by Project Beyond to promote social and economic development in Nigeria.
