Honourable Mojisolaoluwa Alli-Macaulay, the Chairman House Committee on Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation at the Lagos State House of Assembly expresses her heartfelt congratulations to the HeforShe Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his Deputy, Dr. Kadiri Hamzat, on their well-deserved reelection as the Governor and Deputy Governor of Lagos State, respectively.

She noted that Mr Governor’s re-election in the just concluded gubernatorial election is undeniably proof that Lagosians are aware of his outstanding achievements and support the continuation of the administration.

According to Alli-Macaulay, she said, the Governor and his Deputy’s grit, willpower, pedigree, and exceptional qualifications have distinguished them as the people’s Governor and Deputy which is further reaffirmed in their electoral triumph.

In her congratulatory message, she emphasized her certainty that the people of Lagos have come together to demand that the good deeds continue for a greater Lagos Rising.

In the same vein, she also extends her sincere congratulations to the 40 newly elected honourable members who will be speaking for Lagos residents in the 10th Assembly.

In her statement, she said “The people have given you their mandate to represent them because they believe in your abilities and capacities for quality representation. You have all fought the good fight and won.”

“Lagos State is undoubtedly moving toward greater developments thanks to the crop of intellectuals in the house who will be collaborating closely with the active governor, and I have faith that the house will produce high-quality legislation.”
