In its bid to have a robust engagement with the people at the grassroots level across the 57 LGA and LCDAs in the state, the Directorate of Foot Soldiers LGAS’ of the Tinubu/Shettima and Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat Independent Campaign Council (ICC) coordinators converged at the ICC Secretariat for their inauguration.

The Directorate ably led by Hon. Kehinde Oloyede is saddled with the responsibility of house-to-house campaign for the actualization of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu presidential bid and the re-election of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

The Chairman of the Independent Campaign Council, Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku presided over the inauguration exercise which was administered by a legal practitioner Mr. Kayode Oseni.

Delivering his goodwill message, the Vice Chairman of the ICC, Basorun Alabi Macfoy saluted the courage of the foot soldiers for being dedicated and steadfast. He admonished them to keep up the good work and ensure that Lagos State remains in the forefront.

Mr. Akinduro Ibesanmi the Director in the office of Director General of the ICC took turn to appreciate the foot soldiers for their loyalty. Ibesanmi went down memory lane about the impact made by the 2018/2019 team of foot soldiers, he admitted that many of the team members are now working with the current Administration due to their hard work and dedication.

Dignitaries at the event were Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku(Chairman ICC), Basorun Alabi Macfoy (Vice Chairman ICC), Prince Bayo Osiyemi( Director Chieftaincy Affairs), Mr. Akinduro Ibesanmi (Director Office of the Director General), Hon. Ayo Adewale (Director Outdoor Promotion and Management) Mrs. Folashade Onajobi (Director of Women Mobilization), Hon. Babatunde Tella (Deputy Director Foot Soldiers) Mr. Jubril Gawat, (Director of New Media), Engr. Owolabi (Director Professional Women in Politics) among others.
