. . . Says “Presidential Contest is not a Kindergarten Affair”

The Indomitable Tinubu Support Organization (ITSO), a national political network championing the actualization of the presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has cautioned the leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) to avoid sentiments and ensure the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a credible and most formidable candidate to defeat the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, in the coming presidential election.

The group gave the advice in a statement released and signed by its Director-General, Hon. Abdoulbaq Ladi Balogun.

While stating that the presidential contest is not a kindergarten affair but one that requires a man with wealth of political experience and resourcefulness; the group warned that the APC should be aware that Alhaji Atiku is not a pushover in this kind of political contest, being a veteran of over 3 decades.

“We have to be mindful of the geographical spread and support the PDP flag bearer enjoyed and not put forward a political novice. This is not about a nothern or southern candidate now but about someone who has political structures and enjoy unprecedented goodwill across the country”

The group in the statement said Asiwaju Tinubu is well accepted in the northern part of the country with immense socio-political goodwill, and also in the south where he enjoyed a cult like followership; noting that he has a network of political followers and associates whom he has made and helped to achieve their potentials.

“We are using this medium to appeal to our party leadership to ensure we put the right man forward that will ensure the continuation of the infrastructural developments and socio-economic progress recorded by the APC and the Buhari administration.”

The group further stated that Asiwaju Tinubu is already looking forward to a contest devoid of bitterness, rancour and strife with Alhaji Atiku, a man whom he knows very well and already has the strategy to defeat.
