IJEDE LCDA CHAIRMAN MOTUNRAYO GBADEBO ALOGBA HOSTS CHILDREN AT THE YEAR 2022 CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION ~Ajasa-Info

May 27 was set aside as a holiday for children In Nigeria in 1964. The day draws attention and brings to the fore awareness on problems faced by children, Children’s Day brings together a pot-pourri of activities, across different segments of the Nigerian society. This year’s universal theme is: “A Better Future for Every Child”.

Ijede LCDA marks the Year 2022 Children’s day celebration with the Children of Ijede early hours of yesterday at the Council Secretariat, in the remarks of the Chairman Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba ably represented by the Supervisor for Education Hon. Adijat Olaitan Amusat



“It is with great joy that I welcome our children in Ijede Local Council Development Area to this year 2022 Children’s Day Celebration.”

“I am indeed very delighted to celebrate with you today on a day earmarked to celebrate children all over the world.”

“Like the saying goes..’Children are the future of all Societies and Nations. Every serious minded nation will therefore take the development of her children with all seriousness.”

“The responsibility of ensuring that our children in Ijede Local Council Development Area are raised to compete favourably with their counterparts world wide has been a major priority for my administration.”

“So far since the inception of this administration we have distributed educational materials, school uniforms,GCE and JAMB forms etc.. to indigent students in our council in our bid to build a strong and virile community of youths.”

“As I rejoice with you today let me encourage you to neglect all vices that can bring shame and embarrassement to your parents and to our nation and embrace the virtuers of hard work and tenacity of purpose so you can help in repositioning our dear country to an enviable height among the Committee of Nations.
With determination and a good sense of direction..there is nothing that will be impossible for you to achieve.”

“Once again I celebrate you and I wish you all a very rewarding future by God’s mercy.
Thank you all for coming and God bless.” She concluded.

Members of the Executive Arm: Vice Chairman Hon. Kabir, Secretary to the Local Government, Supervisors, The Legislators The Council Leader and other members of the legislative arm are in attendance.
