A FORMIDABLE COMMUNITY BEGINS WITH US, AS COUNCIL OF IJEBU OBA’S IN LAGOS HELD ANNUAL MEETING ~Ajasa-Info

COLLATION OF IJEBU OBA’s IN LAGOS held their annual meeting in Isiwu Township hosted by Dr Raji Olukayode David (Olugbade II). Oba of Isiwu Land of Ikorodu North.

Today, 4th of May 2022, Isiwu town of Ikorodu North played host to eminent traditional rulers consisting the Ayangburen of Ikorodu Land . Engr. Kabir Shotobi, Oba Adegboruwa of Igbogbo, Oba Sekunmade of Ipakodo, Owu of Ikosi, Alara of Ilara, and other First class rulers within the collation of Ijebu Oba’s in Lagos.



The theme of the meeting which held at Palace of Oba of Isiwu Land with eminent royalties in attendance was solely about progress and development across regions governed by each traditional rulers, initiating principles in lines with custom and tradition which had been held in high esteem by the revered kings amongst many other important deliberations.

While the Ayangburen of Ikorodu Engr. Oba Kabir Shotobi who spoke to the press as regards security issues as part of their wide consultation beckoned on the need for State policing with constitutional backings, which he believe will be a forward thinking solution to issues of Crime in the society, state and country at large, Oba Adegboruwa of Igbogbo who also spoke to the press reminded the citizens that Security is everyone business’ and a valid co-operation with law enforcement agencies would breed a saner society.

However, Oba Kabir Shotobi the ayangburen of Ikorodu Land reminded the people on the need to be at alert during these election season especially the presidential elections with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu being a top runner and deserving of the honours, And the host Dr Raji Olukayode David of Isiwu land reminded the good people of Isiwi town and beyond on the need to get their PVC to enable them exercise their constitutional right.


The meeting ended in Fun fare with dignitaries, religious leaders, Youth forum and other notable guest who came go rejoice with Isiwu Township in attendance.
