….Charges security operatives to fish perpetrators and find a lasting solution to the seemingly recurrent attacks
The Speaker of the 5th Assembly of the Nigerian Youth Parliament, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Azeezat Yishawu has extended her deep condolences to the families of the passengers that lost their lives in Monday’s terrorists attack on a train on its way from Abuja to Kaduna.
In a statement on Tuesday, Yishawu condemned the unfortunate incident which led to the untimely deaths of some citizens, including young Nigerians and left many injured.
The Speaker prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased and wished the injured persons a speedy recovery.
She further commended the efforts of the relevant security agencies for their response and efforts to account for all persons on board, charging them to do everything possible to fish the perpretrators.
“It is sad that a route that people have considered to be safe is no longer safe as it seems these criminals intend to stay in business,” she said.
“The actions of these criminal elements are totally condemnable and rejected. We can’t build a nation when the lives of citizens are under constant threats by such evil minds. It is imperative that the necessary security authorities realize the agenda of these criminals and ensure to take proactive steps to secure the rail once and for all. There should be no place for criminals to thrive in our society.”
