Gbajabiamila commissions Roads, ICT Centres and School Buildings in Lagos, salutes teachers ~Ajasa-Info

…Charges students to be diligent in their studies



The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep Femi Gbajabiamila has continued with his drive to change the face of education for his constituents in Surulere 1 federal Constituency with the commissioning of new ICT centres in some secondary schools and complete renovated Nursery and primary schools.
The speaker also commissioned four roads and a Agricultural Training Center building which was fully equipped.

The roads which were commissioned are Ashimowu Bakare Street, Itire-Ikate;
Oshogbo Street, Itire-Ikate, Surulere,
Sanya Road, Coker – Aguda,
and Omilani Road, Itire-Ikate, Surulere.
The schools that had newly constructed and fully furnished ICT centres commissioned include Community Grammar School, Femi Ayantuga, off Adelabu, Surulere,
Ansarudeen High School, Falolu
and Lagos progressive Secondary school.
Some schools were completely renovated from their dilapidated states and new computer rooms constructed and furnished. These schools include Elizabeth Fowler Memorial Nur/Pry School, Masha, Surulere,
AL-WAJUD Nur/Pry School, Babatunde street off Ogunlana,
Ansarudeen Nursery / Primary School, Babatunde street off Ogunlana,
Subuola Nursery/ Primary School, by Sam Shonibare ,
And Methodist Nursery/Primary School, by Sam Shonibare.


At every school visited, the Speaker was welcomed happily by the teachers and students. The Speaker thanked the teachers for their dedication to their duties even as he encouraged the students to face their studies and make good use of the computers and ICT centres.

He was accompanied on the commissioning exercise by the Chairman of Surulere Local Government Area, Suleiman Yusuf, party and community leaders.
