The annual Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Unity Legacy Cup Semi final took place today at the Campos stadium Lagos Island between LASAA FC Vs LIRS FC.

LASAA FC was in a early lead in the first half, LIRS FC lacks defense in the first half of the game which makes them conceive 2 goals to nothing.

Commencement of the second half LIRS FC makes some key changes which also change their playing pattern of the game, 10 minutes into the second half LIRS FC scored a goal which shows they are getting their confident back.

15 minutes to the final whistle LIRS FC makes some magic kicks and makes LASAA FC find ball in their net which makes both teams on the same score line.

LASAA FC tried to score a finishing goal but LIRS FC never relent on their defense, kicking out any ball on sight eventually the referee blow the final whistle.

A Penalty Shootout was played, which shower of goals was raining from both teams until it gets to the turn of the LASAA FC Goalkeeper to play his own penalty Shootout but unfortunately for him LIRS FC Goalkeeper push the ball out.

The score line is LASAA FC (2) 8:9 2) LIRS FC

It was a joyful moment and celebration galore as there supporters run into the pitch to celebrate with them on a hard-work comeback.

LAWMA FA was to face LASTMA FC for their own semi final but unfortunately they didn’t show up, which gives LAWMA FA a walkover to the final.

They are to face LIRS FC at Campos stadium tomorrow for the final of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Unity Legacy Cup.
