Milecent Foundation partners with Lagos state food Bank initiative to reach out to 20 communities in Ikorodu ~ Ajasa-Info

Milecent Foundation was amongst the 20 NGOs selected in April to partner with Lagos state food Bank initiative to tackle hunger in Lagos state during the Covid19 pandemic till date.

This project has been ongoing for 6 months and Milecent Foundation has reached out to more than 20 communities within Ikorodu division including Baiyeku, Igbogbo, Ijede, Okeletu, Igbe, Ita elewa, Itun, Ikorodu garage, Sabo market, Odogunyan, Solomade, Owode Ibeshe, Ebute,Imota, Italuwo, Agric and the list continues.

Milecent Foundation has reached out to more than 6,000 individuals– pregnant women, widows, nursing mothers, the aged, beggars and the low income market women/men etc.

The founder of Milecent Foundation by the name , Comrade Okolo Ikechukwu Innocent expressed satisfaction on the ongoing project and promised that Milecent Foundation will reach out to more individuals and communities in Ikorodu because we have a great volunteers network to make this happen.

He further explained that, Ikorodu has been their main target since 2018 the foundation started operations. He thanked the stakeholders, baales and comrades in Ikorodu division for making the outreaches a success.
