Members, supporters, and stakeholders of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Greater Kosofe, gathered for a post-Ileya celebration aimed at promoting unity, community engagement, and support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The event, held at the Greater Kosofe Renewed Hope Secretariat, CMD Road, Lagos, brought together community leaders, political stakeholders, religious leaders, market representatives, and various interest groups in an atmosphere of celebration and fellowship.

Speaking at the gathering, the Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Greater Kosofe, Hon. Yunusa Salami, said the event was organized to celebrate with members following the Eid-el-Kabir festivities and to update them on the achievements of President Tinubu’s administration.

According to him, the President has demonstrated a commitment to the development of Nigeria through investments in infrastructure, policy reforms, education, youth development, and other key sectors. He expressed confidence that given the opportunity to continue his leadership beyond the current term, President Tinubu would deliver even greater dividends of democracy to Nigerians.

Hon. Salami further emphasized that electoral success requires collective participation and should not be left solely to politicians. He noted that the diverse attendance at the event reflected the broad-based support needed to achieve common political goals.

He cited the presence of Community Development Committee (CDC) representatives, market leaders, members of the Arewa and Igbo communities, as well as religious leaders, as evidence that nation-building and political progress are collective responsibilities.

Hon. Salami also assured members that he and other ward coordinators would work diligently to ensure that government information, programmes, and materials reach the grassroots directly.

He stressed that there would no longer be unnecessary intermediaries between the people and the government, noting that residents would have direct access to information and opportunities provided through government initiatives.

According to him, this approach would strengthen communication, enhance transparency, and ensure that the benefits of government policies get to the intended beneficiaries at the community level.
