
Beneficiaries have commended Rep. Babajimi Benson for his sustained commitment to community welfare through the Apo Aanu food distribution initiative, as over 500 residents of Ikorodu benefitted from the February edition of the programme held on Saturday at the lawmaker’s Constituency Office along Ebute–Igbogbo Road, Ikorodu.
The outreach initiative, aimed at easing the economic burden on families within the constituency, attracted praise and appreciation from beneficiaries who described the intervention as timely and impactful.
One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Tairat Isumola from Ward C in Ijede, applauded the initiative and assured the lawmaker of her continued support in future elections. She noted that the food support came at a period when many households are facing serious economic hardship.
Similarly, Mariam Adam from Ikorodu Central Ward expressed gratitude to Rep. Benson, offering prayers for him while speaking on the challenges many families encounter in meeting their daily feeding needs. She described the intervention as a major relief to beneficiaries.
Also speaking, Mr. Adeshina Abayomi from Igbogbo, who said he had benefited from the programme on previous occasions, praised Rep. Benson for his developmental strides across Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
According to him, the lawmaker’s contributions to road infrastructure, education, and healthcare have continued to impact residents positively.
