… Set to Move to Justice Forum

The PAJ Movement hosted a well-attended appreciation and strategic stakeholders’ meeting, drawing supporters, party faithful, and community actors from across the six local governments in Ikorodu Division.
The gathering, convened by Hon. Prince Adedoyin Ogunbiyi (Jokotex), Supervisor for Health in Ikorodu North LCDA, came after a long interval following his chairmanship bid and was aimed at appreciating loyalists of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and members of the movement for their unwavering support.
Addressing the audience, Ogunbiyi noted that the meeting served both as a thank-you engagement and an opportunity to reconnect and reposition the movement ahead of the forthcoming political processes, particularly the party primaries.
He described the PAJ Movement as a grassroots-driven platform with a strong social impact, highlighting its social economy arm, which operates like a foundation focused on supporting less privileged across the Ikorodu Division.
According to him, the movement continues to bridge the gap between governance and the grassroots while also serving as a vehicle for political mobilization and community development.
Ogunbiyi reaffirmed the group’s commitment to the APC and urged members to remain united and actively mobilize at the ward and community levels in preparation for upcoming elections.
He declared the group’s support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing that the Renewed Hope Agenda remains on course and urging members to intensify grassroots mobilization for the President’s second-term bid.
In addition, the movement declared total support for the aspiration of Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as Governor of Lagos State in 2027, pledging to mobilize its structure across the Ikorodu Division in backing the bid.
Support was equally extended to Senator Tokunbo Abiru, with a call for continuity to sustain development across the Lagos East Senatorial District.
Likewise to Rep. Babajimi Benson, describing him as a performing lawmaker whose contributions have positively impacted the division, while assuring that the movement would mobilize maximum backing in appreciation of his efforts.
In a significant political development, Ogunbiyi announced that the PAJ Movement is set to align with the Justice Forum, with hundreds of its members expected to join the political bloc.
Speaking on his role as Supervisor for Health, Ogunbiyi commended the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, Hon. Ameen Olawale Apanishile, for his commitment to the “New Deal Agenda,” particularly in strengthening the health sector.
He disclosed that his focus is on upgrading existing health facilities, expanding primary healthcare services, and implementing preventive health programmes to improve service delivery.
Ogunbiyi added that he recently conducted familiarization visits to primary health centres within the LCDA to assess their condition, identify gaps, and evaluate progress.
He assured that challenges identified during the visits would be addressed promptly in collaboration with the council chairman.
He expressed confidence that the health sector in Ikorodu North LCDA would witness significant improvement, assuring residents of better healthcare services and sustained reforms.
