Lagos State Deputy Governor, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has commenced a series of high-level consultations with key political stakeholders as part of efforts to deepen engagement on the future of governance in the state.

As part of the ongoing consultations, Dr. Hamzat paid a courtesy visit to Bushura Alebiosu, a member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) and the Apex Leader of Greater Kosofe.

During the visit, both leaders engaged in frank and insightful discussions centered on the future direction of Lagos State and the kind of leadership required to sustain its growth and development.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and reflect on strategies that would further strengthen governance and service delivery across the state.

Dr. Hamzat emphasized the importance of leveraging the wealth of experience and institutional knowledge within the GAC, noting that the consultation process is anchored on listening, learning, and collaboration.

He expressed appreciation for the guidance and perspectives shared during the engagement, describing them as invaluable to shaping informed decisions for the state’s progress.

The Deputy Governor reiterated that the consultation with party elders and leaders is a critical step toward building a more inclusive, resilient, and prosperous Lagos.

In attendance were Chief Bode Oyedele, Hon. Dayo Bush-Alebiosu, Hon. Sanni Okanlawon, among others.
