
The Leader of the Legislative Arm in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko, has extended warm Eid greetings to the Muslim Ummah across Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, urging residents to uphold the values of love, sacrifice, peace, and unity as they celebrate the sacred festival.
In her Eid message, Princess Banjoko congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the spiritual exercise leading to the celebration, describing Eid as a period of gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment to humanity and community development.
She called on residents to continue promoting peaceful coexistence, mutual understanding, and support for one another irrespective of religious or political differences, stressing that unity remains essential for the progress and development of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA and Ikorodu Division at large.
Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko also encouraged youths and families to celebrate responsibly and use the festive period to strengthen family bonds, extend kindness to the less privileged, and pray for continued peace, prosperity, and sustainable growth within the community and Lagos State.
She further reaffirmed her commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that will continue to improve the welfare and wellbeing of residents, while wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous, peaceful, and memorable Eid celebration.
