
In a remarkable recognition of his contributions to community development and cultural advancement, Hon. QS. Abdulazeez Adekunle Awesu has been conferred with the prestigious title of Fellow of the Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS). The honour was bestowed upon him by the Ikorodu Culture and Art Troupe during a special ceremony held as part of the annual Ikorodu Oga celebrations.
The event, which drew dignitaries, traditional leaders, and community members from across Ikorodu and beyond, celebrated individuals and organizations whose efforts have significantly promoted the socio-cultural and economic growth of the area. Hon. Awesu was recognized for his unwavering commitment to community service, youth empowerment, and his continued support for cultural preservation in Ikorodu.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Awesu expressed deep gratitude to IKODASS and the Ikorodu Culture and Art Troupe for the honour, describing it as a call to do more for the people of Ikorodu.
He emphasized the importance of preserving indigenous culture and fostering unity through community-driven initiatives.
