In his continued efforts in giving back to his constituents, Rep. Babajimi Benson, member representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, through his iCare Foundation distributed Ramadan and Lenten food packs to over 500 families across the Local Government and the five Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

The iCare Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for every resident of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, has been actively involved in various projects such as BacktoSchool, #StartupIkorodu, #RoadGrading, #iCareJobCenter, and #iCareFoodBank. These initiatives aim to bring Governance closer to the people and address the needs of the community.

Through the iCare food bank, the Foundation purchases grocery food items and redistributes them in bags known as APO AANU or MERCY BAGS. These bags are specifically provided to those in need, including elderly individuals, widows, and physically challenged individuals within the Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

Abubakar Giwa, appreciated the gesture, saying he was grateful to Rep. Benson for always putting the people’s first.

Mrs. Emeka Alice expressed her deep appreciation for the assistance, noting that the welfare packages were especially helpful given the current economic situation.

Mr. Kolawole also commended Rep. Benson’s initiative. He praised the lawmaker’s commitment to the welfare of his constituents.

Aishat Mohammed expressed her gratitude for the assistance during Ramadan. She praised Rep. Benson’s kindness and generosity.

Abdullahi Yusuf, another beneficiary, also praised Rep. Benson’s efforts. He thanked the lawmaker for remembering the less privileged during the holy month.
