As the Islamic community welcomes the new year, 1446 Hijrah, Ayodeji Rilwan Tinubu, a chairmanship aspirant for Lagos Mainland Local Government, has extended his warm greetings and prayers to all Muslims in the area and beyond.

In an open letter, Tinubu called for unity, peace, and tolerance within the community, emphasizing the importance of coming together in harmony and coexisting peacefully. He urged residents to foster an environment of peace and tolerance, upholding the values of compassion, integrity, and respect that Islam teaches.

Tinubu also appealed to the community to keep their leaders at all levels in their prayers, seeking guidance, wisdom, and justice for those in positions of responsibility.

He concluded by praying for Allah’s blessings on the community, seeking unity, guidance, and a prosperous and peaceful year ahead.
