Hon. Salau Rukayat Ibukun Ajibike, the Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in Ikorodu West LCDA, on Friday 1st of March visited the ongoing Bread Baking Training program. The program is sponsored by her in partnership with the Bakery Initiative Empowerment and Employment Program (BIEEP).

During her visit, Hon. Salau Rukayat Ajibike checked on the well-being of the students and their progress in learning bread baking.

The trainer commended the students for being attentive in class and even mentioned that they would have the opportunity to be employed and placed on a salary if they are interested in working with them.

To showcase the students’ skills, the trainer showed a pictures and videos evidence of the bread the students made, and it came out perfectly fine. Hon. Salau Rukayat Ajibike was impressed by the positive feedback and improvement from the students. She encouraged them to continue learning and honing their skills, as this would not only make them better bakers but also enable them to own their own bakery in the future.
