Hon. Salau Rukayat (Ajibike), the Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in Ikorodu West LCDA, attended the 2023 Exhibition Day at the Skill Acquisition Center in Aga, Ikorodu. The event, with the theme “SAC DAY 2023,” aimed to showcase the various products and creative skills acquired by students during their vocational training.

The exhibition was in line with the THEMES Agenda of Mr. Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, highlighting the importance of vocational training and skill acquisition in empowering individuals and boosting economic development.

Hon. Salau Rukayat expressed her gratitude to the Office of the Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA) in Lagos State for initiating the creative skills initiative. She encouraged unemployed youths in Ikorodu Division to seize the opportunity to learn valuable skills and empower themselves through skill acquisition.

Furthermore, Hon. Rukayat advised young people, especially females, to take advantage of the Lagos State Skill Center located in Aga, Ikorodu. This center provides accessible vocational training facilities and resources to help individuals acquire valuable skills and enhance their prospects for employment.
