Rep. Babajimi Benson member House of Representatives, Ikorodu federal constituency and his iCare Foundation distributed over 500 food packs to constituents through the iCare food bank, in Ikorodu Federal Constituency for the month of June. The distribution took place at his constituency office today, June 24th.

The Foundation buys grocery food items and redistributes them in bags called AAPO AANU or MERCY BAGS for needy, physically challenged, and widows within Ikorodu Federal Constituency who are either elderly, widows or physically challenged.

The iCare Foundation is a non-profit organization that focuses on improving the quality of life of every resident of Ikorodu Federal Constituency. They have been running projects like BacktoSchool, #StartupIkorodu, #RoadGrading, #iCareJobCenter, #iCareFoodBank, amongst other initiatives aimed at bringing governance closer to the people.

The food distribution is part of the iCare Foundation’s efforts to alleviate the suffering of the less privileged in the society. The Foundation believes that everyone deserves access to basic necessities of life, and they are committed to ensuring that no one is left behind.
