A frontline campaign group of the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Asiwaju Project Beyond 2023, has organized Breaking of Fast and Special Prayers in IDP camps / Destitute homes across the six geo-political zones of the country.
According to a statement released by the Director-General of the group, Realwan Okpanachi, the events are undertaken to celebrate the 71st birthday of the President-Elect. The event is billed to hold on Wednesday, 29th March 2023, in Kaduna, Ebonyi, Akwa-Ibom, Borno, and Lagos States and the FCT simultaneously.

He further reiterated that, this move is in tandem with the President-Elect’s directive of using the period of his 71st birthday celebration to pray for a successful transition, especially that Muslims and Christians are currently observing the holy month of Ramadan and lent, respectively.

“In line with the directive of the President-Elect, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, that, his 71st birthday should be marked with prayers, we at Asiwaju Project Beyond 2023 are also towing this line. The breaking of fasts and prayers as well as support to internally displaced persons, is a way of carrying out his wish and celebrating him.

Okpanachi concluded his statement by stating that, “we pray for a successful transition and takeover of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in May 2023 and God’s strength, wisdom and grace for him to deli on his mandate effectively and effectually.”
