Residents of the nine communities in Agbede and Odogunyan area of Ikorodu North will begin to heave a sigh of relief as the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, Builder Deola Banjo is about to complete a major link bridge which is at 90% completion that would connect Odogunyan and Agbede communities.

With the bridge nearing completion, life would become more meaningful and travel hours would be greatly reduced therefore making life easy for residents of Agbede and Odogunyan communities as they would no longer have to travel so many kilometres before accessing their various destinations in Ikorodu central and Ikorodu West LCDA.

To witness the life-changing project and in the spirit of electioneering, Builder Deola Banjo invited the Julius Berger of Ikorodu division, Rep. Babajimi Benson on a working visit to Agbede for an oversight function of witnessing the giant strides of his administration in Agbede.

The Builder while addressing the gathering said his administration has decided to embark on the elephantine project simply because we wants to ease the stress people in Agbede go through on a daily basis. Banjoo also used the opportunity of the gathering to thank Honourable Babajimi Benson for the Agbala roads and other great works he has been doing over the years in Ikorodu North LCDA.

Rep Babajimi Benson after acknowledging pleasantries and camaraderie with the people described Banjoo as the ‘Julius Berger’ of Ikorodu North for building a bridge. He went further to charge residents of the communities who have made several requests before his speech to first of all ensure they deliver 70% of the votes in their communities for all the APC candidates in the coming elections after which he asked them to hold him accountable if their road is not fixed afterwards.

The Executive Chairman, Ikorodu West LCDA, Honourable Sulaiman Kazeem Olanrewaju, APC Chairman, Ikorodu division, Honourable Olasunkanmi Tijani, CDC Chairman, Prince Niran Ogunbanwo, CDA Executives, Baales, stakeholders in Agbede communities and mammoth residents of both communities witnessed the pre-commissioning event.
