The Igala Community in Lagos State declared support for All Progressives Congress candidates in the coming general elections. This all-important declaration was made today at the Oduduwa Cresent of the headquarters of Independent Campaign Council for Tinubu/ Shettima and Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat.

The event was at the instance of the Directorate of Ethnicity of the ICC, ably supervised by Hon. Wale Adelana.

The Chairman of the Independent Campaign Council (ICC), Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku commended the resilient spirit of the Igala people and their commitment to the cause of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu. Cardinal Odunmbaku charged the Igala people to go and deliver their polling booths.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the ICC, Basorun Alabi Macfoy thanked the gathering for turning out in their large numbers. He noted that Governor Yaya Bello is a youth governor who has been mobilizing the youths across the country.

The Deputy Director General Mr. Kola Peregrino stated that he was familiar with the Igala people as trustworthy people that they will deliver on their promise for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Gov, Sanwo-Olu second term.
