It is not coming to us as a surprise at the just concluded APC Special Convention, where its standard flag bearer was chosen in the person of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, The Jagaban of Borgu Kingdom.

Asiwaju polled a total vote cast by 1,271 with a wide margin leaving his runner up with a different of 900 plus votes. The APC Special Convention was held at the seat of power, Abuja-Nigeria receiving delegates from across the country since about 3 day ago.

The Convener/Co-ordinator Lagos Youth for Sanwoolu, Com. Ruth Lijirin Ayomide with other members of the group were visibly active in the process of positioning a new cause for rulling party ahead of the 2023 general elections.
In her congratulatory message she maintained that, “this is not coming as an accident most especially at a time we needed an experience juggernaut to paddle the canoe of the country to its desired place. it is also a wish God has ordained, as many Nigerians are willing and hoping a new Nigeria emerges.

‘ HOPE 2023 ‘, a mantra bourne out of genuine leadership that will stair the country to it is rightful place in the comity of nations will be our focal point.
She said “listening to his acceptance speech not quite long at the eagle square, we can all see what stuff Asiwaju is made up of and the quality of egg heads he will be putting to use when he eventually won the general elections come February 2023. My prayers are numerous for him, may God continue to guide and guard us all” , she opined.
