In the last ten years, The Senior Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Central Business District has embarked on Literacy advocacy, Knowledge acquisition and transfer and Mentoring Programmes to promote the development of education and reignite reading culture among the young adults on the Island.

During his Charity Visit, Hon. Giwa distributed gift Items to the Patients at the Massey Children Hospital. He sponsored the reconstruction of the Toilets and Bathrooms in the female Ward.

He also instituted a monthly Environmental sanitation exercise to compliment the effort of the Lagos State Government: Sanitory Officers were engaged.

Fumigation of Open Spaces, Public Schools and Markets. Drainage systems clearing and evacuation to ensure Community and personal hygiene.

Hon. Shola Giwa’s passion for community development cum service is second to none.
Through the ‘Shola Giwa Initiative’, he partnered with the State Government Agencies and the Private Sectors to facilitate Constituency projects to Lagos Island Constituency 2. These oversight functions have had positive and direct impacts on the Constituents.
